Our students ended last term in style by performing at our Christmas Talent Show.

A variety of singers and dancers took to the stage in exchange for donations of food for Corby Foodbank.

The competition was very tough but the judges decided the overall winner was singer and pianist Lewis from Year 8 who performed Christina Aguilera’s Say Something.

Talent Show Co-ordinator Markus Wilson said: “The Talent Show was hugely successful again this year.

“The judges were very impressed by all the acts and it was very hard for them to reach a decision because of the quality of the performances.

“In the end they named Lewis our overall winner who performed fantastically well even though he has only been learning the piano for a few months.”

Second place was won by Year 8 student Rebecca who choreographed her own dance number.

There were also honourable mentions for Year 8 student Megan who performed John Legend’s All of Me and Year 7 student Debony who performed a Highland Fling.

The donations of food will be presented to Corby Foodbank this term.
