Well done to all our students celebrating their results today. Here’s some of their stories: Sean Tanangonan  and Jessica Christenson are two of our three students who achieved 9 graded maths results.

Sean had an amazing set of results achieving 8 grades English exams, A* grades in biology, physics and chemistry, As in computer science and history, a B in engineering and C in German.

He said: ‘I felt like I worked pretty hard. I concentrated a lot on the sciences and thankfully I got them.’ He is going to study maths, further maths and two sciences at A Level and is thinking of a career in engineering.

As well as her top maths result Jessica also got an A* in chemistry, As in computer science, biology and physics along with qualfications in English, engineering, German and history.

She said: ‘I was confident in most of my subjects and. I am planning to stay on and do computer science and maths as they are my favourite subjects.’

Congratulations also to Dmitrijs Gnennijs, who also achieved a 9 in his Maths GCSE.
