A week full of exciting events was held to welcome new Year 7 students to Corby Technical school.

Activity Week concluded the term and gave students the opportunity to take part a range of challenging sessions, including climbing, paddle boarding, team exercises, master chef, swimming at Corby East Midlands International Pool and a visit to the cinema. To end the week students celebrated with a disco.

Activity Week Co-ordinator Mr Dan Rogers said: ‘The week gave our new students the chance to mix with students from other tutor groups.

‘We have now been running the event for 3 years as it is really successful and not only helps the students get to know one another but also helps them get to know their teachers.

‘It’s been a brilliant week. The students have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it’s a great way to end the term.’
