Corby Technical School staged its own track and field competition to mark the end of the school year.

Form 7T were victorious in the inter form competition which took place on June 11^th.

The Trust groundworks team marked out a 200 metre track for the event which saw students battle it out across a number of distances and disciplines.

There was a 100m, 200m, 800m and 1500m race as well as long jump competition, some throwing events and a tug of war (which was won by 7S).

The sports day event ended with a staff vs students relay (which was won by the students).

7T student Darnel said: “It was a great event and there was lots of friendly rivalry. The tug of war was the best part, as I had not done one before.”
