Our young rugby players joined more than 100 girls from across Northamptonshire at a Rugby Development Day.

The event was held at Old Northamptonians Rugby Club in Northampton and the girls took part in a variety of activities, including ball handling and tackling.

PE  Teacher Louise Feeley said: “Our girls were really good – they really got stuck into all the activities.

“I think they got a lot out of the activities. We are planning to get a rugby team up and running in September.”
