10-12 Christmas Cooking Club is a hit

Our older students have been taking part in a Christmas Cooking Club after school.

Our older students have been taking part in a Christmas Cooking Club after school.

We have run four sessions for our Year 9 and 10 students to give them an opportunity to make a variety of festive treats, including Yule logs, mincemeat parcels, snowmen biscuits and reindeer cakes.

Vice Principal Linda Arnold said: “This is the first time we have run this club and it has been very popular.

“The students have really enjoyed it and they have learned very useful life skills.”

All our students have also been enjoying taking part in our Christmas decoration competition.

Each form has been challenged to produce the best decorated form room.
