Students display their talents at annual Christmas show

To end the term, the school held a Christmas showcase to display the talents of many of our students through a variety of acts.

Students Tommy and Malika, hosted the show and provided us with much entertainment throughout the evening in-between acts.

Many singers took to the stage as well as a Year 9 band Aboulia who played ‘Seven Nation Army’. The CTS Choir was led by Sixth Form student Kara Hamer, who has recently released her own single and performed a solo on the night.

Throughout the evening, many of our students completed some beautiful readings. Debony and Marli performed a highland dance and the GCSE Year 9 Drama class displayed their physical theatre skills.

To conclude the evening, the staff performed a very comical versionof Cinderella, written by Mr Cox.

Drama teacher Stephen Cox, who organised the event, said: ‘It was brilliant to see all the talents of the students, which we don’t always get to see during a normal school day. The students all performed extremely well and we are very proud of them. It was a lovely way to end the term and I think the staff panto provided the audience with a few laughs.’

Thank you to everyone who came to watch the performance and well done to all students and staff involved, it was a very enjoyable evening.
