Corby Technical School has forged a new partnership with one of Europe’s leading indoor skate parks.

Students are taking part in a four week programme at Adrenaline Alley in Corby after school where they can choose to ride BMX and scooters or have a go at inline skating or skateboarding.

Year 8 students Bobby and Aidan are among those who are taking part.

Bobby said: “It’s a lot of fun. I’ve been there a few times in the past and it’s great that we can go with school now.”

Aidan added: “It's the first time that I’ve been there and it's amazing.

“I’m really looking forward to going back. It has ramps which launch you into the air and you end up in foam pits and I can’t wait to have a go at that again.”

PE teacher Louise Feeley said: “This is the first time we have ever done anything like this with Adrenaline Alley.

“The students are really enjoying themselves and we hope to run this programme each term.”

During one of their trips the students also met Dakota Scheutz, who has been named the best scooter rider in the world, Hunter Scheutz and Jacques Honour, from Lucky Scooter Parts, and USA scooter champion Jeremy Malott who were also visiting Adrenaline Alley.
