25-01 Can you help out with exciting projects?

Parents with technical skills are being urged to get involved with two new exciting projects at school.

Parents with technical skills are being urged to get involved with two new exciting projects at school.

Our students are taking part in the Go4Set initiative and are currently working on two projects.

The first is to redesign an existing railway station and the second is to look at ways to make our school more energy efficient.

Design and Technology teacher Nigel Barrett said: “This is a great opportunity for the students to work on a real project and it would be even better if we could get some people from outside to help mentor them.

“We’re looking for people who have careers in business or enterprise but we would be pleased to hear from anyone who would be interested in giving up a bit of their time to help out.”
