Business
At Corby Technical School, Business Studies is an optional subject that students can elect to study from Year 9. The school studies the OCR Cambridge Nationals specification which is made up of three units, One unit is worth 50% of the overall qualification and the other two units are each worth 25%. Two of the units are controlled assessment and the other is assessed with an external exam at the end of Year 11.
In Business Studies students will be equipped with Business skills that are essential for success in employment and provide fundamental knowledge required by employers.
