Year 10

In Year 10, students will be developing and deepening their study of German, engaging in the study of a wide range of topics, ranging from technology to the environment. They will also be beginning to focus more explicitly on the exam skills they will need for the end of course exams.

The specification covers three distinct themes. These themes apply to all four question papers.Students are expected to understand and provide information and opinions about these themes relating to their own experiences and those of other people, including people in countries/communities where German is spoken.

Theme 1: Identity and culture:
