Representatives from about a dozen different organisations attended our first ever Industry Breakfast.

The event was held on Tuesday to give businesses, community organisations and education providers the chance to learn more about our Ofsted-rated Outstanding school.

The visitors saw an exhibition of students’ work in the library, toured our new building, were given a short presentation about the school and enjoyed breakfast alongside our staff and students.

Principal Angela Reynolds said: “We had a really good response to our first Industry Breakfast.

“The visitors really enjoyed the exhibition in the library which featured work from our technical curriculum as well as pieces from subjects such as English, mathematics and German.

“We received a lot of positive comments from all the visitors and we would like to thank everyone who attended.

“I would also like to thank Linda Arnold and Nigel Barrett for co-ordinating the event.

“It was a brilliant morning and as a result of its success we’re hoping to organise another Industry Breakfast in the autumn.”

The visitors to the event included Corby Borough Council leader Tom Beattie and representatives from Corby Business Group, Tresham College, Rotary Club of Corby Phoenix and The Bennie Group.
