22-06 Weetabix staff work with our students

Staff from leading breakfast brand Weetabix visited our school to work with our students.

Staff from leading breakfast brand Weetabix visited our school to work with our students.

The Weetabix representatives worked with our Year 7 students last week on a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) project and talked to them about quality control processes and how the manufacturing of their products has changed over the years.

They also brought along free samples of Weetabix products and ingredients and moulds so that the students could try their hand at making their own version of Weetabix in the classroom.

CTS Teacher Rob Cooper said: “The students really enjoyed the visit and loved making their own version of Weetabix.

“We are thrilled to have links with such a major company and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
