Two students will be taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.

Emma McNeill and Natalie Bristow, will be joining Emma’s friends and family in the 5km race at Russell Park in Bedford on June 16^th.

Emma said: “My mum’s friend came through leukaemia and will be doing the walk with us, so the charity does have a special importance for us.”

Natalie, who trains in hurdles and sprint at Corby Athletics track said: “I have been doing some jogs and 5 mile walks to prepare myself for it.”

The Race for Life event was established in 1994 and now has 230 race events taking place across the UK each year.
