Our students have received coaching from East Midlands Rugby.

Community Rugby Coach Jon Perks, from East Midlands Rugby, has been coaching our Year 7 and 8 girls and boys during PE lessons throughout this term.

PE teacher Louise Feeley said: “Rugby is a sport we want to develop here.

“The RFU (Rugby Football Union) is keen to get rugby back into lessons to make it more popular in schools.

“Our students love it and they’re developing into good players really quickly.

“We’re hoping to have a competition in school at the end of term.”
