Our Year 7 students have designed and made colourful Chinese lanterns with a difference.

The electronic lanterns include an LED and a sensor which turns the light on when it gets dark.

Design and Technology teacher Nigel Barrett said: “We’ve had an amazing range of different designs and colours.

“The vast majority of the Chinese lanterns are incredibly good and work very well.

“I’m really pleased with the finished products.”
