Our students have helped to select 450 new books for our Library so far this year.

All students have had a mini induction session in the Library to help them navigate its new stock and we will introduce a new self-issuing service using special library software soon.

Librarian Amy McKay said: “We’ve introduced a range of new books based on students’ requests.

“We’ve now got a series of books by John Green, who is a well-respected author of adult fiction, and The Maze Runner series by young people’s author James Dashner.

“We’ve also introduced The Hunger Games, the Harry Potter series and books by Anthony Horowitz.

“There is a great reading culture here and we will continue to improve the Library and increase its stock further.”

Our Library has also launched a new book club called Bookfast which meets at 8am on Thursdays and it is hoping to put together a team for Northamptonshire’s Big Book Quiz.
