Young Leaders from our school took part in the Sainsbury's Winter School Games final at Kettering Leisure Village.

A group of 14 Year 9 students from Corby Technical School helped hundreds of younger students from across Northamptonshire during a series of athletics events.

PE Teacher Louise Feeley said: "Our students conducted themselves really well throughout the competition.

"They were very friendly and helpful to all the competitors.

"It's the second time our Young Leaders have taken done this and they displayed impressive leadership and communication skills."

The Games were opened by double Olympian Andy Baddeley - a 1500m runner and Britain's faster metric miler.
