23-03 Students get active for Sport Relief

Our staff and students have been taking part in a range of activities to raise money for Sport Relief.

Our staff and students have been taking part in a range of activities to raise money for Sport Relief.
So far they have raised nearly £280 by taking part in a fundraising bike ride on a spin bike and by running a mile.
They hope to add to that total tomorrow (Thursday) with a fundraising basketball game which will feature our star players from Years 9 and 10.
PE Teacher Dan Rogers said: "All our students have done fantastically well and we're really pleased with how much they have raised for Sport Relief so far.
"All the students took part in the run and they loved taking part in the bike ride in school.
"We would like to say a huge thank you to Places Gym in Corby for letting us use one of their spin bikes for the bike ride.
"We're really looking forward to tomorrow's basketball game which will begin with a special dance performance by our students."
The dance performance and the basketball game will take place from 4.15pm in our Sports Hall.
Spectators and players will donate £2 to Sport Relief in order to go to the game.
