Four of our top mathematicians took part in the regional final of a major competition last week.

Year 9 students Baixu and Musa and Year 8 students Frederico and James were selected to compete in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust’s Team Challenge at Caroline Chisholm School in Northampton.

The competition gives students the opportunity to tackle a variety of engaging mathematical activities while developing their teamwork and communication skills.

CTS Deputy Principal Linda Arnold said: “It was a great opportunity for our best mathematicians to meet students with similar abilities and to work with teachers from other schools.

“I would like to congratulate our students for representing our school at the contest.”
