05-05 Sports stars are nominated for BWT awards

Five of our students have been nominated in the first ever Brook Weston Trust Sports Awards.

Five of our students have been nominated in the first ever Brook Weston Trust Sports Awards.

The Awards recognise the sporting achievements of students from across the Trust’s 10 schools.

A panel of independent judges will decide the winners who will receive their trophies as a special ceremony at The Core Theatre in Corby tomorrow (Friday).

CTS PE Teacher Dan Rogers said: “All our students who were nominated have done remarkably well this year.

“Our five nominees are fantastic ambassadors for the school through performing sport or leading activities.

“Their sportsmanship throughout all aspects of competitive sport has been brilliant.

“They are an inspiration to other students.”

Our nominees are:

Sportsman of the Year KS3 – Jordan

Sportswoman of the Year KS3 – Leonie

Sports Leader of the Year KS3 – Tia

Sports Leader of the Year KS4 – Anesu

Outstanding Contribution KS3 - Callum
