Three of Corby Technical Schools’ highest achieving students took up an invitation to attend an exciting German master class at Stamford Endowed School.

The students, who are currently studying GCSE German, were offered a glimpse into German film studies often studied at A level. A class that explored certain aspects of sophisticated grammar followed this.

The latter part of the day was dedicated to an expert who discussed the question “How employable am I with a GCSE or A-level in German?” He was on hand to give advice and career guidance to those students who are planning to take a degree in German.

The students were accompanied by their German teacher and Director of Languages, Mrs Wagner-Lees who said ‘ The event was aimed at Year 12 and 13 students so they were amongst the youngest chosen for the event. The students took part with pride alongside six other schools from the area.’
