Congratulation to all the students and drama teacher Mr Cox for putting on a spectacular performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

The student’s showcased the Shakespeare play to friends and family over two evening performances. The play follows four lovers and is set in an enchanted forest with fairies.

Mr Cox said ‘I wanted to build on the success of last years performance ‘Alice in wonderland’ and increase the challenge for the students. Shakespeare seemed like the obvious choice and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is such a fun show with lots of great comedy moments.’

The young cast and crew have been rehearsing every week for the last three terms and did everything from the acting to the lights and sound themselves.

Mr Cox said ‘I am so incredibly proud of all the students involved. They have all worked so hard and given up so much time to make the show a success, particularly Vanessa who played Titania and took on some directorial responsibilities. Dylan also stole the show on his CTS acting debut as Bottom.’
