On Monday, IDEK (I don’t even know) Theatre Company performed a careers choices production to Year 8 and 9 students.

The Theatre Company used real life stories and accounts to explore the notion and consequences of choices in order to help students with their future pathways.

The story was set in a school where the students were deciding what choices they wanted to take and what careers they would like to go into. The piece dealt with the different influences and emotions they were experiencing.

Vice Principal Linda Arnold said ‘The characters and the way the production was structured made it very relatable to the students. There was lots of different questions and themes throughout which I hope has really got the children thinking about their choices and what they want to achieve in life.’

A big thank you to the IDEK Theatre Company for their tremendous performance. They are currently touring 22 schools as part of a three-week tour.
