A term packed full of exciting sporting events has got under way.

Last week the fun began with a futsal competition for Year 7 boys and today the school is hosting the Northamptonshire School Games Project Ability Sportshall Athletics Competition.

PE teacher Louise Feeley said: “It’s going to be a very busy term but a fantastic term.

“There will be so many sporting opportunities for the children to take part in including sports they haven’t tried before.

“Our students are very excited about today’s Project Ability Sportshall Athletics Competition. On Monday, they were given training so that they could act as Young Leaders at the event.”

Today’s Project Ability competition will give young disabled primary and secondary students from across the county the chance to compete in a pentathlon style competition made up of Standing Long Jump, Shuttle Runs, Target Throw, Chest Push and Speed Bounce.

This term our students will also compete in badminton, netball and football competitions, a rowing regatta, activities at Adrenaline Alley and the 27th Summer School Games which will be held at the end of February.
