Our students tested their technical and communication skills when they were challenged to design a pair of jeans.

The students were given an hour to design a pair of jeans and come up with an advertising slogan.

Head of English, Markus Wilson, said: “The students utilised their design and communication skills while they were working on the project.

“Their design work was really good and some of their initial ideas were phenomenal.

“They included creating jeans for ice skaters which were made from materials such as titanium so they didn’t tear, others suggested using a special membrane to make the trousers waterproof and others designed jeans with deeper pockets.”
