More CTS success!

Our students did us proud on GCSE results day 2019. Here’s what more of them are planning next:

Kacper was thrilled with his five 9s, four 8s and a 7.

He says: ‘I feel delighted that I got these because I certainly didn’t expect anything higher than a six or seven in history, let alone an 8 and the same goes for English so I am most pleased about those. I don’t think it has sunk in yet!

‘I am planning on studying at Sixth Form and will go for the three sciences and maths at A Level with a view to going to university to do either biochemistry or go into some kind of physics field. For the most part these results are down to working hard in all lessons. I haven’t done as much work at home as I have been working more during lessons. When she gave me the results Mrs Reynolds said she was really proud!’

Amber.

Amber attained three 9s, two 8s, two 7s and three 5s.

She said: ‘I wasn’t expecting to do this well. Most of the teachers have been really helpful and I did work outside school. History is one of the subjects I tried hardest in. I am now going to do A Levels in geography, history and English. I don’t know what I want to do in the future, I am just doing the subjects that I like best and will work the rest out later. I would tell students to prepare for GCSEs by working really hard because it all pays off in the end - it is down to sustained effort.’

Emma was celebrating one 9, four 8s, two 7s and three 6s.

She said: ‘I am most happy with my English exams which I got 8s in, and the 9 for media studies. I worked really hard and I hoped to get good results. I am going to do English language and history A Levels and another one that I haven’t chosen yet.  I put in a lot of hard work, studied every night and did a lot of revision and the teachers here were very encouraging.’
