CTS teams take part in Sportshall Athletics competition

Corby Technical School students won multiple awards at this year’s Brooke Weston Trust Sports Awards, organised and hosted by BWT Director of Sport Kirstie Smith.
Corby Technical School joined secondary schools from the Trust for the second Brooke Weston Trust athletics day.
Year 9 student Katie has achieved yet more success as she is awarded 5th place representing East Midlands in the Team Trampoline Finals at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
Year 7 student Sammah has become the second youngest at her local karate club to be awarded ‘Shodan’ (black belt).
Year 7 student Mollie will take part in the gymnastic qualifiers in June at Corby Gymnastics Academy for a chance to compete in the county competitions later this year.
Year 9 student Katie, who competes for NGTA (Northamptonshire Trampoline and Gymnastics Academy), managed to score a total of 52.5 points at the Regional Trampoline Team Qualifiers.
In celebration of Sports Relief, the School are holding a variety of events.

Year 7 student Lexi achieved a respectable place in the East Anglian Trophy Inter County Cross Country race.
Year 7 student, Lexi represented the District in the U13 County Cross Country Competition at Croyland Park, in Wellingborough, over the weekend.
A group of Year 9 students from Corby Technical School, who successfully made it onto the newly-formed Brooke Weston Trust elite rugby squad, attended their first training session as members of the team.
