About 45 of our young athletes took part in a mini-triathlon at Corby International Pool.

The mini-triathlon was called the Tata Kids of Steel Triathlon and the event in Corby was one of a series of triathlons being held by Tata.

The sporting events are designed to encourage thousands of students to take part in mini-triathlons this year across Great Britain.

PE Teacher Louise Feeley said: “All our Year 7 and 8 students did really well.

“It was the first time they had taken part in the event and they all came away with medals.”
