Our bright students will present their e-safety product at the final of the County Schools Challenge 2015 tomorrow.
This year Northamptonshire Police challenged secondary school students to come up with a product which would tackle cyber bullying and promote e-safety.
Our team of Year 7 students, Rhys, Lewis and Emily, impressed the judges at the semi-finals this year and will present their product to judges and a packed audience at the grand final at the Castle Theatre in Wellingborough tomorrow evening.
Our students have produced a card game which questions people about what they would do in a variety of different scenarios. At the end of the game the competitors are given a resolution or a consequence depending on the choices they made.
The cards also have an augmented reality component. The cards have codes on the back which competitors can scan with their iPads. They can then scan the front of the card with their iPads to get a 3-d version of the story.
CTS Teacher Rob Cooper said: “The students were very excited to make it to the final and have been working hard to prepare for tomorrow’s event.”
