More than 50 of our Year 10 students will attend the nation’s largest skills and careers event this week.

The students will visit The Skills Show at the NEC Birmingham on Friday where they will have the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of careers, work experience, apprenticeships, traineeships and volunteer opportunities.

Vice Principal Linda Arnold said: “This is the biggest event of its kind in the country.

“The visit will give our students the chance to talk to employers and find out about industries they are interested in.”

The event will include talks, competitions, demonstrations and the chance for the students to try their hand at a range of bite-sized work-based skills relating to the careers in which they have an interest.
