A week of exciting activities was held to welcome our new Year 7 students to Corby Technical School.

Activity Week took place at the end of last term and gave students the opportunity to take part in a range of challenging sessions, including archery, climbing, kayaking, team exercises, master chef, swimming at Corby East Midlands International Pool and a visit to the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough.

The week also featured a performance of the Hound of the Baskervilles by the Looking Glass Theatre group and ended with the students giving a presentation about the week to their parents and an awards ceremony followed by a disco on the final day of term.

Activity Week Co-ordinator Louise Feeley said: “The week gave our new students the chance to mix with students from other tutor groups.

“It was a big success and it will be an annual event to welcome our new Year 7 students to CTS.”
