Health and Social Care
At Corby Technical School, Health and Social Care is an option subject that students can elect to take from Year 9. The school currently follow the OCR Cambridge Nationals Specification which is made up of 4 units all worth 25% of the overall grade, 3 of which are controlled assessment and 1 is an external exam at the end of Year 11.
In Health and Social Care students will be equipped with sound specialist knowledge and skills for everyday use. The course encourages independence and creativity whilst providing tasks that engage the most taxing aspects of the National Curriculum.
