At Corby Technical School it is our aim to create the most employable students in Corby. The IEC (Inspiration, Endeavour and Community) Programme helps students to meet the demands of employers by developing their ‘employable’ skills such as leadership, organisation and management alongside their academic qualifications.
What does IEC stand for?
An activity that allows students to display creativity around the arts, music and performance.
This can include participation in individual team sports and expeditions as well as involvement in local and regional projects.
This includes voluntary work and helping others.
Activities on our IEC enrichment programme include:
❚ Professional Placements
❚ Primary School Placements

❚ Community and Volunteering Work
❚ Young Enterprise Scheme
❚ Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme
❚ Sports Teams
❚ Charity Fundraising Team
❚ Engineering in Education Scheme
❚ Library Internship
❚ Lively Debate Team
Activities offered are subject to student and teacher commitment and may be subject to change.
