Overall Entry Criteria: You will need to achieve a minimum of 5 A*-C/ 9-5 grades (inc Maths and English Language)
Art and Design: Grade 5 in any Art based subject is desired.
Biology: Grade 6 or above in Biology, or Grades BB or above in Core and Additional Science. Maths at Grade 6 is also required.
Chemistry: Grade 6 or above in Chemistry, or Grades 66 or above in Core and Additional Science. Maths at Grade 6 is also required.
Computer Science: 5 in Computer Science/ICT is desired.
Engineering: C in any Design Technology based subject is desired.
English Language: Grade 6 in English Language is desired.
English Literature: Grade 6 in English Literature is desired.
German: Grade 6 in GCSE German is desired.
Geography: Grade 5 in GCSE Geography is desired OR a 6 in English Language if you do not have a GCSE in Geography.
Health and Social Care: Grade 5 in English Language is desired.
History: Grade C in GCSE history or a 6 in English Language if you do not have a GCSE in history.
Media Studies: Grade 6 in English Language or English Literature or Media Studies is desired.
Maths: Grade 6 at GCSE is desired.
Further Maths: Grade 7 at GCSE is desired.
Physical Education: Grade 5 in Double Science or Biology is desired.
Physics: Grade 6 or above in Physics, or Grades 66 or above in Core and Additional Science. Maths at Grade 6 is also required.
Psychology: Grade 6 or above in Biology is desired, or Grades 6 or above in Core and Additional Science are desired. Maths at Grade 6 is also desired.

Trips and Residentials
During Year 12, students will have the opportunity to take part in a range of university visits and UCAS exhibition visits organised by the school.
During the academic year 2018-19 we are aiming to run a residential trip to Iceland on offer for all sixth formers. This fascinating country has a huge range of breath taking sights and experiences. These are likely to include climbing an active volcano, visiting erupting geysers, walking behind waterfalls, swimming in the world famous Blue Lagoon and a possibility of seeing the Northern Lights.
