In unit two, students look at crime and deviance. What are the differences between crime and deviance? What makes some a criminal or a deviant? What role to the media play in crimes? What are the different types of crime? What makes a person a criminal? Can youths be criminal? What are the explanations or crime? Are we born to evil acts or do we learn to do then? Is crime changing? The last component the students enjoy is inequalities. Why is it that some people have more money? Is it true that men and women have different life chances? Why are some people left out of society? Why are there differences in wages? Why is there still racism in pay? What are the sociological theories about inequalities.
