School Meals
Payment for school meals
Our on-site school meals are freshly prepared each day by the Brooke Weston Trust Catering Service. All school meals should be paid for using Wisepay. It is important that students accounts are checked regularly by parents/carers & students. We have a balance checker for students in school and balances on Wisepay can be checked from anywhere. It can take up to 24 hours for a balance to show up on a student card but it will show immediately on Wisepay. School will be able to check on behalf of the student that there are funds on the account.
We regret that we can not authorise any form of overdraft on a students account. Please ensure that there are always sufficient funds in your child's account, if in any doubt please provide them with a packed lunch.
For any queries regarding Wisepay please see our FAQs section.

Free School Meals information
Corby Technical School appreciates that some parents do not apply for Free School Meals (FSM) but now, more than ever, it can clearly be seen to have educational advantages for individual students for a number of years through their school career. FSM eligibility is more than a meal at lunchtime and the benefits for those students eligible are now much more, spanning a period of at least six years from the initial allowance.
We would encourage all parents who may be eligible for FSM to pursue this support avenue. It could help children considerably whilst they are at school and give them access to many more opportunities. If you are unsure as to the benefits, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
How to apply for Free School Meals
To check your eligibility and to apply for FSM via the Northamptonshire County Council website, Click here to apply online.
If you want your child to have a free, healthy meal at lunchtime that’s great – they will get the free meal (saving you more that £350 a year) plus extra benefits and the school get extra funding.
If you don’t want your child to have the school meals they can continue as normal – as long as you qualify and are registered, the school still gets funding.
