National SEND Reform Information

National SEND Reform

Nationally, there is an ongoing review of how support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is planned, delivered and monitored. The Government’s Every Child Achieving and Thriving White Paper and associated SEND consultation outline proposals intended to strengthen inclusion, improve consistency, and ensure that children, families and schools work in closer partnership.

At Corby Technical School, inclusion remains central to our values and practice. We are committed to providing high‑quality, person‑centred support that recognises each student as a unique learner with individual strengths, needs and ambitions. This section of our website shares key information about the national SEND reform programme alongside information on how you can contribute your views to the SEND consultation.

The SEND Consultation has now closed, however we look forward to finding out the outcomes in the near future.
